用on，表示樹上長出的東西，如果實、枝葉等，都用on the tree；

當不屬於樹上生長的東西，如人或其它物“在樹上”時，應用in the tree。

例如：There is a cat in the tree，cat不屬於樹上生長的東西，There are some apples on that tree，pear是樹上長出的東西
