（下面簡稱“BA”）這個專業的崽崽實在是太多了，感覺BA專業很快就要替代會計金融專業成為商科方向的又一大熱門專業了，
但BA吧……真的不是說想申，就能申的，這個專業和傳統意義上的商科專業有一定區別，而且，英國開BA專業的學校是真的很少很少，排名高的要求高，排名低的……你們又不願意去_（：з」∠）_
BA專業到底是個啥呢？
百度關於BA專業有這樣一段描述：“
隨著資料的數量不斷增加，各公司對於分析技術的需求也會跟著提高。要在
數碼時代
中脫穎而出，各公司不僅必須收集資料，也需從資料中提煉出可實際應用的觀點，讓它們交出可持久的結果。各公司需學會從商業智慧系統中提煉出真正的“智慧”。大資料時代對商業分析師需求越來越緊俏。
”
綜上所述，越來越多的公司都開始重視資料的收集、分析，
商業分析師
未來肯定會成為一個超級大熱門的就業方向，所以，看重未來就業形勢的崽崽們就一眼相中了BA這個專業，
不過，
這篇文章提到的BA專業，全稱是business analytics，不是business analysis
，雖然倆專業翻譯成中文都是商業分析，但倆專業其實區別還是挺大的，
business analysis更偏向傳統意義上的商科專業，主要是傾向於公司的運營、業務方面的分析
，
而
business analytics，就是這篇文章將提到的BA專業，則更偏向於大資料的商業運用
，是以商業知識為基礎，數理程式設計為手段，從資料分析出發，以決策最佳化來創造價值的新興專業。你看，是不是聽起來就要高階一些？
但從上面的大概解釋其實就可以看出來，BA專業是需要數理背景作為基礎才能學好的，純文科專業背景的崽崽，比如英語啊、藝術啊啥的……就真的不建議考慮BA了。
英國有哪些學校開設了BA專業呢？
IC帝國理工學院
專業：MSc Business Analytics
申請要求：Our minimum requirement is a 2。1 degree in a quantitative subject。 You are also required to have a well-researched career plan with clear short and long term goals。 雅思要求總分7。0小分6。5。
從學校的申請要求就可以看出來，本科一定得有計量類背景才行，本科如果計量類背景不夠，或者數學相關科目分數不高，申這個專業會很難很難，並且，學校還會要求提供一個職業規劃，要有明確的長期及短期規劃才可。
另外，IC其實很看重申請人的本科均分，雙非申請沒個87、88真的很難拿offer。
IC的這門課會有一個關於數學的 online pre-study，需要在Accounting， Maths and Finance Primers forBusiness Analytics 和 Pre-Programme Maths之間二選一來進行學習，總而言之就是為之後的學習打好基礎，因為BA肯定逃不過和數學這一關。

UCL倫敦大學學院
專業：MSc Business Analytics
申請要求：A minimum of an upper second-class UK Bachelor’s degree or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard。 Applicants must have a strong aptitude for quantitative analysis and are likely to have studied a range of degrees including： management， mathematics， engineering， computer science， economics， and psychology。 雅思要求總分7。0小分6。5。
同樣，從申請要求就能看出來，這個專業也是需要很強很強的計量類背景，接受管理、數學、工程、計算機、經濟和心理學背景的學生申請，
關於PS，UCL官方大概有下面這些要求：
1。why you want to study Business Analytics at graduate level
2。why you want to study Business Analytics at UCL
3。what particularly attracts you to the chosen programme
4。how your academic and professional background meets the demands of this challenging programme
5。where you would like to go professionally with your degree
大概就是需要申請人詳細說明一下為什麼要選UCL為什麼要讀BA以及自己目前的學術條件、實踐經歷等等和這個專業的契合度（這一點很重要），

華威大學
專業：MSc Business Analytics
申請要求：You must have， or be expecting to obtain an upper second class honours at Undergraduate level in a relevant subject。 We consider applications from a wide range of degrees including economics， business， engineering， psychology， geography， sociology， and politics。 The course requires strong numeracy and IT statistical ability。IELTS overall score of 7。0， minimum component scores of two at 6。0/6。5 and the rest at 7。0 or above。
和前面兩個學校一樣，
華威
的這個BA專業也要求很強很強的數學基礎，能接受的專業背景很多，經濟、工程、社科背景都行，但是！一定要有很強的數學基礎才可，
另外，學校官方還提了這麼一句：“We do not automatically require a GMAT or GRE score but may request one to verify specific competencies。”，也就是說……提不提供GMAT/GRE是你們的自由，但，我們保留隨時抽查的權利（學校都這麼說了，你還敢不考一個嗎？）
所以，申華威這個BA，最好還是考一個GMAT或者GRE，如果分高，對申請的幫助也會很大。

愛丁堡大學
專業：MSc Business Analytics
申請要求：A UK 2：1 honours degree or its international equivalent in an area related to management science， operational research， statistics， econometrics， mathematics， physics， computer science， engineering， or business and management with a distinct quantitative content。 Your background should ideally include courses and/or experience gained in topics such as linear algebra， calculus， probability， statistics， and computer programming。 If you have a UK 2：1 honours degree or its international equivalent in an unrelated subject we may consider your application if you have relevant work experience。 Work experience is desirable but not mandatory。 雅思要求總分7。0小分6。5。
愛丁堡這個專業能接受的專業背景也很廣，統計、管理、數學、經濟學、計算機、商科等等專業背景都行，但唯一不變的標準還是——計量類背景，學校官方也說了，最好本科有學過線代、微積分、機率論、計算機程式設計、統計等等，如果沒有學過但是有相關經驗也可，
如果實在是沒有任何相關專業背景的話，有BA相關的工作經驗學校也是會考慮的。

愛丁堡除了這個BA專業以外，還有一個和marketing市場營銷合辦的BA專業，叫——
Marketing and Business Analysis MSc
申請要求：
You will need a UK first-class or 2：1 honours degree from a good university in one of the subjects below， or an equivalent overseas qualification：
1。An undergraduate degree in a business or management related subject with some quantitative elements is normally required。
2。Candidates with degrees in science， mathematics， engineering， informatics or statistics will also be considered。
3。Candidates with a very good Honours degree in a numerate or quantitative subject area or relevant business experience will be considered on an individual basis。
Relevant work experience is not required but may increase your chances of acceptance。
學校的要求簡單說起來大概就是：
1。一般需要商科專業背景並且有一定的計量背景；
2。數學、工程等理工科背景也可；
3。本科是其他專業方向但有非常非常優秀的計量背景的崽崽學校也會考慮；
4。相關的工作經驗不是必須的但是會增加錄取率。
總而言之，只要涉及到BA，就肯定會涉及到數學數學數學……
說起來這個專業我們這邊之前有個雙非崽還拿到過offer，那個崽的學術條件大概是：雙非，網排180+，國貿專業，均分90，雅思7。0，GMAT700（感受一下來自學霸的威脅……）

對了，再補一句非常重要的，愛丁堡大學商學院的專業都需要帶雅思才能申請，最低需要一個總分6。5小分6。0的雅思成績，並且！愛大商學院非常非常看均分，一般均分得有個88左右才有機會拿offer
曼徹斯特大學
專業：MSc Business Analytics: Operational Research and Risk Analysis
申請要求：We require a First or Upper Second class honours degree （2：1， with 60% average） from a UK university or the overseas equivalent in a quantitative subject such as mathematics， statistics， physics， engineering， computing， management science or economics。 雅思要求總分7。0，寫作口語6。5，其餘6。0
申請要求也很簡單，理工科背景、商科背景都行，只要計量類背景夠，都行！
但是！曼大商學院是一個有自家list的學院，也就是說……如果本科院校背景沒有在曼大商學院list內，均分再高其實都不太好使……
但是！就算本科院校在曼大商學院list內，均分也夠學校的最低要求，也不一定能拿到offer，因為曼大給的list以及均分要求只是最低最低的要求，曼大商學院的競爭又格外的激烈，所以要拿offer是真的很難很難，並且，曼大商學院和愛大商學院一樣，需要帶雅思才能申，最低需要帶一個總分6。5小分6。0的雅思才能遞交申請（不然會被秒拒……）
（插一句：曼大商學院的list是分專業的，比如BA、marketing、AF這仨專業的list就完全不一樣，均分要求也不一樣）

利茲大學
專業：Business Analytics and Decision Sciences MSC
申請要求：A bachelor degree with a 2：1 （hons） in a related subject。 Must have a sound grounding in quantitative subjects， typically through some university-level courses in subjects such as statistics， management science， computer science or mathematics。 雅思要求總分6。5小分6。0。
利茲的要求也比較簡單，一就是需要相關專業背景，二就是一定要有紮實的計量基礎，三就是本科必須得學過統計、管理、計算機或者數學相關的課程，
不過如果你真的以為利茲的要求只有這麼簡單的話那你可就太不瞭解利茲遼~
利茲，出了名的會卡list、卡院校背景，特別是他們家商學院，而這個BA專業，正好就是商學院的專業，所以，申請是一定會卡利茲自家list的，
去年8月之前，利茲的這個BA專業還是除了三本不收其他都收，但去年8月利茲突然更新了一下list，提高了申請要求，所以現在這個BA專業也已經不收國內網排不高的雙非崽崽了，
不過，只要在利茲list內，並且專業背景、課程量符合要求的話，其實要拿offer也挺簡單的，畢竟這個專業對於在list內院校背景的學生都只卡75的均分，
所以……其實利茲這個BA專業真的很適合本科院校背景不錯均分不到80的理工科崽崽去申請，我這邊之前就有一個網排200左右，本專業自動化，均分77的學生拿到過利茲BA專業的offer。

南安普頓大學
專業：MSc Business Analytics and Management Sciences
申請要求：2：1 classification UK bachelors degree or equivalent
Acceptable subjects： A wide range of subjects with some element of quantitative study
Required module areas： Evidence of quantitative study， eg accounting， economics， finance， maths， management sciences or engineering。 Other subjects considered if quantitative ability demonstrated at A levels。
Excluded subjects： English translation， Art/Performing Art， Vocational Studies
Work experience in a related field can compensate for degree subject/grades。
雅思要求總分6。5，閱讀寫作6。5，其餘6。0
南安這個BAMS專業和前面提到過的所有BA專業一樣，會很看重學生本科是否有足夠的計量背景，接受轉專業申請，只要本科有足夠的計量背景就成，相關工作經驗可以適當彌補學術條件的不足，但是……
南安普頓商學院
的所有專業都不接受英語翻譯、藝術類專業的學生申請，這個專業也是，
和利茲一樣，南安普頓是有自家list的院校，會根據list來發拒錄，會根據院校背景的不同卡75、78、80三個均分，
並且南安普頓商學院是認可部分獨立學院的哦，這些學校包括：
北京師範大學珠海學院
浙江大學城市學院
吉林大學珠海學院
廈門大學嘉庚學院
針對以上院校背景的崽崽，南安普頓大學商學院會卡83的均分。
目前的學費（之後可能會調整）：19950英鎊/年（成功打敗曼大成為最便宜的專業）
除了這個MSc Business Analytics and Management Sciences專業以外，南安還有一個和金融結合的BA專業，叫——
MSc Business Analytics and Finance
申請要求：2：1 classification UK bachelors degree or equivalent。
Acceptable subjects： A wide range of subjects accepted in finance， economics， sciences， engineering， computer science and similar
Required module areas： Evidence of quantitative study eg accounting， economics， finance， maths， management sciences or engineering。 Other subjects considered if quantitative ability demonstrated at A levels。
Excluded subjects： English translation， Art/Performing Art， Vocational Studies
Professional qualifications such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualifications can compensate for unrelated degree subject。 Work experience in finance is not a requirement but can compensate for unrelated degree subject/grades。
這個專業和前一個BA專業一樣，能接受的專業背景很多，金融、經濟、工程、計算機等有足夠計量背景的專業都行，同樣不接受英語翻譯以及藝術類背景的學生申請，
另外，這個專業還有提到，如果學生有ACA/ACCA/CIMA證書，可以適當彌補不相關的學位背景，如果有金融相關工作經驗也可彌補專業背景的不足。
和前面BAMS那個專業一樣，會卡南安自家的list。

其他院校 其他部分排名不在TOP100的院校其實也有開BA這個專業，比如巴斯、拉夫堡、薩里、
阿斯頓
等等學校都有。
總結一下前面提到的這幾所學校：
UCL IC 愛丁堡 華威
雖然沒有具體的list，但這四所學校的商學院/管理學院要求都很高，學霸可以上，非學霸可以作為衝刺試一試，學渣就還是……慎重8；
曼大商學院、利茲商學院、南安普頓
：這三所學校都有自己的list，利茲和南安一般會根據list來發拒錄，曼大的list只是最低的申請要求，一般都得高於這個申請要求才有機會拿offer；
另外，
曼大和愛丁堡商學院
必須帶雅思才能申（最低要求總分6。5小分6。0）；
華威
的BA專業最好帶GMAT/GRE申請。
