一、意思不同

1。on the Internet意思：在網路上

2。by the Internet意思：透過網際網路

3。through the Internet意思：透過因特網

二、用法不同

1。on the Internet用法：on表示“在物體的表面上”，on是根據事物發生和存在所依靠的基礎這一用法，由此引申為“根據，按照”，與之連用的詞一般是表示忠告、規則、命令、指示、協議、建議、原理的名詞。

2。by the Internet用法：by表示方式作“憑著”解時，其後常接反身代詞； 作“乘”解時，後接交通工具，其前不加冠詞。

第一個是“在網際網路上”這你知道。第二和第三如果單句翻譯起來，雖然都可以說“透過網際網路”但是在寫作應用時是有區別的。by有因為、由於、歸屬於、依靠，靠的含義。而through 完全就是，透過，經由，透過，穿過。而作為“透過”“憑藉”時，有和by相似的地方：I got the news through my wife。 如果說 by my wife 也可以。
