a few譯作“幾個”，a little， a bit譯作“有點兒”。它們具有名詞、形容詞或副詞的特點，在句中可充當主語、賓語、定語或狀語。
1。名詞性片語：a few代替複數名詞，a little， a bit代替不可數名詞。如 my answers are wrong。 tell me a few。 / there is no milk in my glass， give me a little （= a bit）， please。
2。形容詞性片語：a few修飾複數名詞，a little修飾不可數名詞，a bit加上of後修飾不可數名詞。如 a few dictionaries / a little water （= a bit of water）
3。副詞性片語：a little， a bit可修飾形容詞、副詞的原級或比較級。 a few不可。 如 i’m a little （= a bit） cold。 / he is a little （= a bit） taller than tom。
