本類化學品系指能灼傷人體組織並對金屬等物品造成損壞的固體或液體。與面板接觸在4h內出現可見壞死現象，或溫度在55℃時，對20號鋼的表面均勻年腐蝕率超過6．25mm/年的固體或液體。其主要品類是酸類和鹼類
腐蝕品特性
（一）強烈的腐蝕性
1．對人體有腐蝕作用，造成化學灼傷。腐蝕品使人體細胞受到破壞所形成的化學灼傷，與火燒傷、燙傷不同。化學灼傷在開始時往往不太痛，待發覺時，部分組織已經灼傷壞死，所以較難治癒。
