☆this， that 指示代詞，“這”，“那”
1）只表達單數概念。
（2） this 是就近指代，而 that 是相對的遠處指代，這只是一個相對概念，並不是絕對的。
（3） 這兩個指示代詞經常單獨使用，從不和冠詞（a， an， the）、形容詞性物主代詞（her， his， its， my）等連用；
（4） 它們的一般疑問句在回答時不直接用 this， that， 而是用it來代替上文的指示代詞以免詞彙重複。
（5） 它們還可以放在名詞前面，直接作賓語，但只與單數名詞在一起使用。
—Is this your backpack？ 這是你的揹包嗎？
—Yes， it is。 / No， it isn’t。 是，是的。/不，不是。
I like that picture。 How about you？ 我喜歡那個圖片，你呢？
Who is this in the picture？ 圖片中的這位是誰？
（6）用於電話用語，意為“我是……”。例如：
—Who is that？ 你是誰？
—This is Tom speaking。 我是湯姆。
